Description : Information literacy has been establishing as an important issue in the field of Information Science. We developed a project in Portugal aiming to understand how High Education students face information skills required by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). A large sample that included various regions of the country was analyzed and either qualitative or quantitative methods have been used to study the ability and the attitude of students in relation to information literacy. Some results will be presented aiming to discuss some issues engaged in this problematic.
