Ask a Librarian
The Ask a Librarian Service provides answers (in french) to questions in the information and library science fields. Free, personalised answers are provided concerning :
- help with documentary research
- bibliographic research
- facts and orientation
Enssib is part of Si@de (Information on Demand Services), a grouping of 22 specialist Ask a Librarian services for libraries based on skills areas.
The service does not provide :
Computer assistance, legal advice, financial estimates, detailed bibliographies, correction of exercises, press kits, market analyses, help with study tasks, answers to examination questions.
Who can ask a question ?
Anybody interested in Information and Library Science, except enssib students.
Who answers ?
A team of librarians from the enssib Documentary Resources Department.
How long do I have to wait ?
The service is in operation from Monday to Friday except during the periods when the library is closed. An answer is provided within 3 days. If detailed research is required, we will inform you of the extra waiting time.
