Since 2014, Enssib has invited two research fellows every year to develop the institution's international connections.
The guest researchers give lectures and courses that reinforce the internationalisation of research in the history of the book, as well as in information and library sciences within the School.
They are selected by means of a call open to all international researchers, from doctoral students to senior researchers. Researchers working in the libraries are welcome.
The visiting researcher programme covers a stay (transport and accommodation) of approximately one week at Enssib during the calendar year following selection.
It aims to encourage the establishment of specific partnerships and strengthen cooperation by facilitating exchanges between peers on identified research projects that correspond to the strategic orientations of the Research Department and the various laboratories to which the School's teacher- researchers are attached, the Gabriel Naudé Centre and ELICO.
Visiting colleagues' stays should coincide with teaching periods at the school.
HOW TO APPLY
Researchers applying for the programme must submit a dossier containing the following items:
- A Curriculum Vitae with a list of publications and a short biographical note.
- A title and a paragraph explaining the applicant's research project and its links with the themes of Enssib's research centres.
- The conference, seminar and/or teaching session that the applicant plans to offer as well as the language in which they will be given.
- The Enssib researcher with whom the applicant would like to work.
Proposals must be sent in the form of a single pdf document before 2 June at 16:00 by email: sabah.el_bakkali@enssib.fr.
