Digital Humanities

This course is offered jointly by Université Lumière Lyon 2, Enssib, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and ENS de Lyon.
At Enssib, the course is only available as a double degree with the "Information and Library Science" speciality.

Enssib diplomas
Enssib offers two diplomas that can be followed after a bachelor’s degree
Library and documentation operational manager (COBD)
This diploma certifies the acquisition of the skills necessary to carry out managerial-level functions in libraries and documentation centres. This diploma is mainly taught through distance learning, but also offers five weeks on-site during the year.
It is aimed at working professionals wishing to develop their careers and at students who already have experience in the world of libraries and documentation.
University Diploma in Information and Library Science (DUSIB)
The DUSIB is a university degree which is taught entirely remotely and which has been developed jointly by Senghor University of Alexandria and the Enssib, with the support of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BnF), and the Association des Amis de la Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The one-year programme is designed for specialists in French or French-language documentation working abroad, who have completed three years of higher education and have some professional experience. In addition to theoretical courses on five themes (collections and documentary policy, public service, digital resources, heritage management, mediation and cultural engineering), this diploma includes a six-week internship in a partner institution.
