Chantier Conversion rétrospective de la Bibliothèque nationale (Le)

- Résumé en allemand : Als Beitrag zur Zusammenfassung des Gesamt- und Multimedienkatalogs der künftigen Bibliothèque de France hat die Bibliothèque nationale angefangen, die sechs Millionen in ihren verschiedenen Katalogen und Zettelkasten enthaltenen, d.h. vor der Bildung der BN-OPALE Datenbank hergestellten Aufnahmen durch EDV zu versetzen. Dieser Vorgang mu? vier Jahre lang dauern, und wird auf Grund vertraglicher Ausführungstermine geplant. Die ganze Arbeit wird unter die Verantwortung der Bibliothèque nationale geleistet, und bildet ein einziges Vorhaben. Die Bearbeitung selbst wird möglichst an Subunternehmern vergeben. Das Enderzeugnis wird als ein sorgfältig nachgeprüftes und korrigiertes Magnetband aussehen, das in den Datenbestand der Bibliothèque de France Ende 1995-Anfang 1996 eingefügt werden soll.
- Résumé en anglais : In order to cooperate in the formation of the encyclopaedic and multimedia catalogue of the Bibliothèque de France, the Bibliothèque nationale undertook the conversion of the 6 million entries of its many and various catalogues and files prior BN-OPALE into data medium, in 4 years. Conceived as a single process planned from start to finish, based on contractual schedules, this conversion goes on under the whole control of the Bibliothèque nationale, subcontracted at the most by information providers. The final product will be a supervised and corrected in minute detail magnetic tape, which will be loaded in the information system of the Bibliothèque de France at the end of 1995 or the beginning of 1996.
- Résumé : Afin de participer à la formation du catalogue encyclopédique et multimédia de la Bibliothèque de France, la Bibliothèque nationale a entrepris de convertir en quatre ans, sur support informatique, les six millions de notices contenues dans ses nombreux et divers catalogues et fichiers antérieurs à BN-OPALE. Conçu comme une opération unique planifiée de bout en bout, sur la base de calendriers contractuels, ce chantier se déroule sous la totale maîtrise de la Bibliothèque nationale tout en étant sous-traitée au maximum par des prestataires de service. Le produit final se présentera sous la forme d'une bande magnétique minutieusement contrôlée et corrigée, qui pourra être chargée, fin 1995-début 1996, sur le système d'information de la Bibliothèque de France.
