Où en est le catalogue mondial des incunables ?

Weltkrieg führt die Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin die 1940 unterbrochene Publikation des Gesamtkatalogs der Wiegendrucke fort, um durch Ersetzung des Hain die bibliographische Erfassung der Drucke des 15. Jahrhunderts auf eine moderne Grundlage zu stellen. Auch im Zeitalter elektronisher Medien erweist sich die in den 20er Jahren unter Anleitung von Haebler festgelegte Beschreibungsmethode der Inkunabeln als die günstigste. Es dient der Beschleunigung dieses wissenschaftlichen Katalogunternehmens, wenn möglichst viele Bibliotheken mit ihm zusammenarbeiten - auch zun Nutzen der Bibliotheken mit Inkunabelbesitz, denn die Redaktion des GW ist bereit, ihnen bei der Bestimmung ihrer Seltenheiten zu helfen.
- Résumé en anglais : After the Second world war, the Berlin Deutsche Staatsbibliothek takes up again the publication of the Gesamtkatalog der Wiegendrucke (GW), the world catalog of incunabula, which brings up date the bibliography of the XVth century prints in order to replace the Hain. The method of description of the incunabula established during the 20' under Haebler is always now the best adapted. The participation of the biggest number of libraries would contribute to speed up this scientific cataloguing and would be of the interest of the libraries which keep incunabula, for the writing of the GW is at the disposal of the holders for all the problems posed by their identification.
- Résumé : Après la Seconde guerre mondiale, la Staatsbibliothek de Berlin reprend la publication du Gesamtkatalog der Wiegendrucke (GW), le catalogue mondial des incunables, qui modernise la bibliographie des imprimés du XVe siècle dans le but de remplacer le Hain. La méthode de description des incunables établie dans les années 20 sous la direction de Haebler se révèle encore, à l'ère de l'informatique, la mieux adaptée. La participation du plus grand nombre possible de bibliothèques contribuerait à accélerer ce catalogage scientifique, et serait aussi de l'intérêt des bibliothèques détentrices d'incunables, car la rédaction du GW est à la disposition des possesseurs pour tous les problèmes que pose parfois leur identification.
