Résumé en anglais :
Hypertex is a structure which improves navigation between multimedia information units. Hypertext uses three composants : information nodes, links network and manipulation interface to invoque those links. ypertext is a general concept with four types of applications : macro-literary systems, problem exploration tools, browsing systems and general hypertext technology. Navigation can use buttons embedded in information nodes, or a general browser. Navigation is hard to model, so risks are important to be « lost in hyperspace ». Researches on hypertext try to improve multimedia integration and user control. Standardisation for exchange and inter-operability is central for the development of hypertext. Hypertext is a new look at information retrieval, with consequences for librarians dealing with library catalogs and new information products.
