- Résumé en allemand : Seit 1977 genießen die französischen Universitätsbibliotheken die Unterstützungen des « Centre national du livre » (nationales Buchzentrum). Solange sie nach denselben Kriterien wie der ordentliche Haushalt zugeschrieben wurden, erlaubte diese Hilfe, die Erwebspolitik trotz der Verknappungsjahre weiterzuführen. Auf Grund einer Neugestaltung, die vor einigen Jahren durchgeführt wurde, gilt heute ein Verfahren, das die eigenen Vorhaben jeder Anstalt in Betracht zieht. Der « Centre national du livre » will heute die Gründung oder Erweiterung der Bibliotheken befördern sowie die Entwicklung von thematischen Sammlungen. Wenn die Unterstützung der neuen Anstalten vortreffliche Ergebnisse gezeitigt hat, leidet die thematische Hilfe unter einer zu kurzen Dauer (zwei oder drei Jahre) sowie einer übertriebenen Themenvielfältigkeit. Man kann deswegen bedauern, daß diese Art Zuschuß keine echt strukturierende Wirkung hat.
- Résumé en anglais : The French university libraries have been enjoying the CNL's aid since 1977. This aid, first attributed according to the same criterions as the operating budgets, has maintained the purchases during the shortage years. A reform has been opened a few years ago, which has led to organize a procedure of call for projects. The CNL intervenes now in favour of the creation or the extension of libraries or in favour of the development of thematic collections. If the support to the creation has revealed itself convincing, the aid to the development of thematic collections is suffering from a too short duration (two or three years), and from a too important scattering of the themes, which do not give these collections a real structure
- Résumé : Les bibliothèques universitaires françaises bénéficient des aides du Centre national du livre (CNL) depuis 1977. Cette aide, attribuée d'abord selon les mêmes critères que les crédits de fonctionnement, a permis de maintenir les achats dans les années de pénurie. Une réforme a été engagée depuis quelques années, qui a conduit à mettre en place une procédure d'appel à projets. Le CNL intervient maintenant en faveur de la création ou de l'extension de bibliothèques ou du développement de fonds thématiques. Si le soutien à la création s'est révélé probant, l'aide thématique souffre d'une courte durée (deux ou trois ans), ainsi que d'une trop grande dispersion des thèmes et n'a pas d'effet réellement structurant.
