- Résumé en allemand : Um den Vorgang der Informationsrecherche zu verbessern, kann man es nicht bei einer Verbesserung des Vergleichs zwischen eingegebener Frage und Inhalt der Dokumente belassen. Andere Aspekte müssen hinzugezogen werden : die, die dazu führen, dass die Information für einen bestimmten Benutzer mehr oder weniger brauchbar ist, im Rahmen einer Tätigkeit, deren wesentlichen Merkmale von ihm selbst bestimmt werden. Eine Reihe von Arbeiten zielen darauf ab, die Informationsdeskriptoren zo zu konstruieren, dass sie den an bestimmte Gewohnheiten gekoppelten Informationserwartungen gerecht wird.
- Résumé en anglais : To improve the process of documentary research, we cannot be satisfied with optimizing the comparison between requests for, and the contents of, documents. Other aspects must be taken into account: those which make sure that the information is more or less exploitable by a given user, within the limits of an activity where it can furnish its essential character. A certain number of projects aim to construct a description of information compatible with the informational expectations linked to usage. The Profildoc project at the university of Lyon I is within the framework of such an approach.
- Résumé : Pour améliorer les processus de recherche documentaire, on ne pourra se satisfaire d'optimiser la comparaison entre requête et contenu des documents. D'autres aspects sont à prendre en compte : ceux qui font que l'information est plus ou moins exploitable par un utilisateur donné, dans le cadre d'une activité dont il peut fournir les caractéristiques essentielles. Un certain nombre de travaux visent à construire une description de l'information compatible avec des attentes informationnelles liées à des usages. Le projet Profildoc de l'université Lyon 1 s'inscrit dans cette démarche.
