The converse of the library, where all is methodically arranged and available after a period more or less long, the Web is a disembodied "paradoxical space", in permanent mutation, which abolishes time and distance, putting on the same level the millions of documents that one finds there. This article describes techniques for structuring and representing collections on the website of a library which can serve to reintroduce space, perspective, time and man.
