- Résumé en allemand : Der Artikel stellt das Institut national d'histoire de l'art vor: seine Entstehung, Aufgaben, Räumlichkeiten, Organisation und die Programme die es ausführt. INHA hat den Auftrag, die Forschungsarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Kunstgeschichte und der Archäologie zu unterstützen und eine Bibliothek bereitzustellen, die diesen Bedürfnissen entspricht. Die Autorin betont die architektonischen und vor allem die bibliothekswissenschaftlichen Erfordernisse zur Vorbereitung dieser Bibliothek, die drei bestehende Bibliotheken vereinigt und mit der Bibliothek der Ecole nationale des chartes assoziiert ist. Es geht darum, ein Erwerbungsprofil zu erstellen, besondere Sammelgebiete des kulturellen Erbes zu entwickeln, die Zusammenarbeit von Forschern und Bibliothekaren zu fördern, einen gemeinsamen Katalog für die vier betroffenen Bibliotheken zu schaffen, den Direktzugriff auf einen Teil der Sammlungen zu ermöglichen und eine elektronische Bibliothek für Kunstgeschichte aufzubauen.
- Résumé en anglais : This article presents the Institut national d'histoire de l'art: its gestation, its missions, its site, its organization and the programmes it is putting in place. The role of the INHA is to support research in art and architectural history and to ensure it has a library worthy of its needs. The author highlights the work in architecture and above all in librarianship opened up by the preparation of this library, born of three existing libraries and associated with the Bibliothèque de l'École nationale des chartes. What must follow will be to define a collection policy; to develop poles of excellence in the field of patrimony; to encourage collaboration between the librarians and researchers concerned; to allow free access to part of the collection and to build an electronic history of art library.
- Résumé en espagnol : El artículo presenta el Instituto nacional de historia del arte: su gestación, sus misiones, sus locales, su organización, los programas que ejecuta. El papel del INHA consiste en sostener la investigación en historia del arte y arqueología y ofrecerle una biblioteca a la medida de sus necesidades. El autor pone el acento en las obras arquitecturales y sobre todo biblioteconómicas abiertas para la preparación de esta biblioteca, salida de tres bibliotecas existentes y asociada a la Biblioteca de la École nationale des chartes. Se trata de definir una política documental, de desarrollar polos de excelencia patrimoniales, de favorecer la colaboración entre bibliotecarios e investigadores, de realizar un catálogo común a los cuatro establecimientos concernidos, de permitir el libre acceso a una parte del fondo y de constituir una biblioteca electrónica en historia del arte.
- Résumé : L'article présente l'Institut national d'histoire de l'art : sa gestation, ses missions, ses locaux, son organisation, les programmes qu'il met en oeuvre. Le rôle de l'INHA est de soutenir la recherche en histoire de l'art et archéologie et de lui offrir une bibliothèque à la mesure de ses besoins. L'auteur met l'accent sur les chantiers architecturaux et surtout bibliothéconomiques ouverts par la préparation de cette bibliothèque, issue de trois bibliothèques existantes et associée à la bibliothèque de l'École nationale des chartes. Il s'agit de définir une politique documentaire, de développer des pôles d'excellence patrimoniaux, de favoriser la collaboration entre bibliothécaires et chercheurs, de réaliser un catalogue commun aux quatre établissements concernés, de permettre le libre accès à une partie du fonds et de constituer une bibliothèque électronique en histoire de l'art.
