Cet atelier, co-organisé par le Centre Gabriel Naudé et l'Université d'Utrecht, s'articule autour du projet "Discovering Europe in the Early Modern Period: How Literary Bestsellers Shaped a Diverse Community, 1517-1713", lauréat d'un appel à subvention VIDI de la Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (Conseil néerlandais de la recherche) pour 2022-2026.

L'atelier sera l'occasion d'examiner comment les œuvres de fiction de toute l'Europe de la Renaissance ont pu contribuer aux conceptions de l'identité européenne, dans un sens matériel aussi bien que littéraire.
