Catalogue d'une très intéressante exposition d'ex-libris de collectionneurs hongrois, du 19e et surtout du 20e siècle, organisée par la Bibliothèque nationale Széchényi de Budapest. Il est divisé en trois catégories : écrivains, artistes, savants, et à l'intérieur par ordre alphabétique de collectionneurs. Les 177 notices sont très complètes ; rédigées en hongrois, elles sont accessibles à l'Europe occidentale grâce à un lexique, court mais suffisant, hongrois-anglais, des termes techniques, placé en tête du catalogue. Comme l'ouvrage est très illustré, les abréviations résolues et les identifications précises, il peut être très utile à une époque où de nombreux livres hongrois ont été mis en circulation. Un index des artistes termine le catalogue qui doit être noté par toutes les bibliothèques ayant un fonds ancien ou précieux. L'introduction, traduite en anglais, fait allusion à des expositions antérieures sur le même sujet, mais à des points de vue différents. Elles devront être notées par tous les services bibliographiques des « Réserves » de bibliothèques.
